2004 NW Journalism Conference

Sept. 18-19, Portland State University
Downtown Portland, Oregon, USA

Join us Sept. 18-19 at Portland State University for the Northwest's premier journalism conference, dedicated to the advancement of education and knowledge among freelance and staff journalists, newspaper and magazine editors, and journalism students.

The 2004 theme is Creating Award-Winning Journalism, with 10 Pulitzer Prize and other award-winning writers and editors instructing this year’s comprehensive curriculum. Choose from nine 1-hour courses and two additional 3-hour workshops.

Attendees also receive a keynote address led by American Journalism Review Editor Rem Rieder; free access to this year's new Publication Forum, presented in job-fair format for magazines and newspapers seeking freelance and staff writing and editing talent; and applications for the top North American journalism awards. Visit www.NW2004.com for course options, instructor information, travel arrangements, fees and secure online registration.
