ONA member Dorian Benkoil has accepted the position of Editorial Director, mediabistro.com , a website by, for and about the media.

He oversees daily operations and strategy for the editorial properties, including subscription AvantGuild content, a network of blogs, feature stories, and the flagship website.

Previously, Dorian was a digital media business consultant for Teeming Media, the general manager of Fairchild Publications' Internet division, a managing producer at ABC News Digital (home of ABCNEWS.com), and a foreign correspondent, reporter, and editor at The Associated Press, Newsweek, and some Japanese TV shows. He's working on an MBA.
