The John S. Knight Fellowships at Stanford University is accepting applications for its 2007-2008 fellowship program for journalists who have already accomplished a lot and are ambitious to do more. Fellowships are granted to 12 U.S. journalists and up to eight from outside the U.S. Candidates must have seven years’ professional experience (five years for international applicants), be currently working full-time as journalists and be fluent in English. Fellows receive a stipend of $55,000, Stanford tuition and supplements for housing, child care, health insurance and books. All activities of the program are open to spouses and partners of Fellows.
Deadline for U.S. applicants is Feb. 1, 2007; for international applicants, Dec. 15, 2006.
