Caspio Promotes David A. Milliron to Vice President of Media Services Division

Caspio, provider of the leading on-demand platform for web applications, today announced that David A. Milliron has been promoted to Vice President of Media Services. In this role, Milliron will continue to direct and expand Caspio's presence in the online media industry.

"David's promotion is not only a testament of the tremendous impact he is making at Caspio, but is also a statement of Caspio's commitment to the online media," said Caspio founder and CEO, Frank Zamani. "We are pleased to offer him this advancement and look forward to his continued contributions."

Milliron joined Caspio in May 2007 as the director of Caspio's newly-created Media Services Division. In less than a year, Caspio has quickly become the industry standard for on-demand database applications, with over half the nation's Top 100 newspapers adopting the Caspio Bridge platform.

"David has helped hundreds of online news and broadcast web sites increase readership, page views and advertising revenue by utilizing Caspio Bridge to publish searchable databases and applications," Zamani said. "His hard work and dedication to Caspio, combined with his extensive expertise, are pivotal to Caspio's growth in the ever-changing media landscape."

Prior to joining Caspio, Milliron was an avid and loyal user of Caspio's platform-as-a-service while working at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. With more than 20 years experience in print and online publishing, Milliron is one of the country's foremost experts in computer-assisted reporting and analysis.

Caspio Bridge enables non-developers create and deploy online database applications fast and without any programming skills. Caspio has offered the service since 2001, with over 100,000 web applications built to date.
