Caspio, provider of the leading on-demand platform for web applications, today announced that David A. Milliron has been promoted to Vice President of Media Services. In this role, Milliron will continue to direct and expand Caspio's presence in the online media industry.

Milliron joined Caspio in May 2007 as the director of Caspio's newly-created Media Services Division. In less than a year, Caspio has quickly become the industry standard for on-demand database applications, with over half the nation's Top 100 newspapers adopting the Caspio Bridge platform.

Prior to joining Caspio, Milliron was an avid and loyal user of Caspio's platform-as-a-service while working at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. With more than 20 years experience in print and online publishing, Milliron is one of the country's foremost experts in computer-assisted reporting and analysis.
