When: Tues-Weds, May 13-14, 2008
May 13 - Program runs approximately 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
May 14 - Program runs approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: The workshop will be held at the Times-Picayune building, 3800 Howard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70125, in the 2nd floor Large Conference Room.
Cost: $50 registration fee, which includes two lunches and coffee breaks. Participants may attend the whole seminar or any portion of it for the registration fee.

Faculty members:
Anthony Moor, called "one of the most energetic and creative newspaper Web editors" by APME back in 2003, is Deputy Managing Editor/Interactive at The Dallas Morning News. He directs the newsroom's new media operations and manages a staff of Web journalists. Previously he led Interactive staff at the Orlando Sentinel, and the Rochester, N.Y., Democrat and Chronicle. Before the Web, Moor spent 15 years in television news from Tokyo to Buffalo - but most of it reporting for San Francisco's KRON-TV. He serves on the board of the Online News Association. Moor holds a B.A. degree in Astrophysics and American Civilization from Williams College.
Michael Roberts is a deputy managing editor at The Arizona Republic. In 2007 he helped lead the paper's transition to a 24-hour "Information Center," with a Web-first publishing mentality. He is responsible for all newsroom training, serves as writing coach, and provides training at Gannett newspapers around the country. Roberts was training editor/writing coach at The Cincinnati Enquirer from 1993-2003. He is a regular speaker at National Writers Workshops, the Freedom Forum and regional AP and SPJ workshops. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Master's degree in training and human resource development from Xavier University.
