Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowships

NPF is accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowships. This monthly series of one-day seminars is for journalists who are or soon will be based in Washington, D.C. Now in its 21st year, the Paul Miller program has become a valuable rite of passage. Fellows learn from veteran colleagues, officials and experts how to mine the nation's capital for important local news. A total of 20 journalists will be selected from print, web and broadcast media; supervisors must agree to allow fellows to attend the seminars, and fellows must attend. The program is designed primarily for regional reporters, but journalists with other beats may also qualify. Applications are due June 2. Apply on our website.
