An Associated Press Sports Editors committee has succeeded in improving access to players and doubling online audio/video time from 45 seconds to 90 seconds for the 2008 season. The policy allowing only audio and video obtained at team facilities continues to apply.
Led by John Cherwa of the Orlando Sentinel, the APSE committee will continue working with the NFL and other sports leagues to improve media access.
